Education and training activities
The Loss Adjusting Association of Japan (LAAJ) offers ASC Training to its members. The goal of this training is—via the acquisition of knowledge and skills required for adjustment work—to cultivate high-quality adjusters with advanced expertise and practical abilities who are trusted by both businesses such as general insurance companies as well as general consumers.
ASC Training
“ASC” stands for “Adjusting Skills College.” It is composed of Step I, in which participants learn fundamental techniques; Step II, in which they aim to acquire more practical adjustment techniques; and Step III, in which they master deeper work-related knowledge so they are able to engage in more specialized adjustment work. In addition, the LAAJ also offers special loss assessment training and training to acquire knowledge regarding new or individual products as necessary.
